Testimonials

It's difficult to express how wonderful Renea is. We have had the privilege of working with her for many years. She has been able to successfully work with my children who have various learning challenges, and has been an invaluable resource as I navigate homeschool education, kindergarten through high school! She is patient, fun, encouraging and overall a miracle worker! I can't recommend her services highly enough.

Ms. Ree is a treasure! When I was ready to give up on teaching my children math, she rescued me not once but twice. My high schooler went from hating math to genuinely looking forward to his meetings with Ms. Ree, and my grade schooler went from tears to confidence. She has been part of our homeschooling journey for years now, and I can affirm that she is absolutely priceless!

My son has been tutoring with Ms. Ree for three years. She is amazing! She explains math concepts in a way that makes sense and is easy to understand, and she makes it fun! Ms. Ree can move as slow or as fast as you need, she's very flexible. She is also able to teach using a variety of curriculums. She has been a perfect fit for my son!

It is my great pleasure to personally recommend Renea Ree for the role of Math Tutoring Services. Ms. Ree was a treasured asset to our homeschool curriculum for three years, teaching our son through Sophomore, Junior and a Community College concurrent course his Senior year.

She covered Geometry, Algebra 2, and College Algebra consecutively. Although under a charter school and college guidance, neither of these institutions provided more than a textbook, worksheets, and test dates. While she was originally contracted to "tutor" in these courses Ms. Ree truly assumed a much bigger role as instructor/ special ed support/ IT department/ student counselor/and comedy relief.

She quickly became in-tune with student needs/learning style, and balanced those amazingly with the expectations of the course. In our case it required a patient progression of trust and relational investment with our son diagnosed with anxiety, OCD, and ADHD. None of these overwhelmed or even detoured Ms. Ree with the mission at hand. She naturally incorporated life skills of staying true to task, note taking, self-advocating, and applicable usages for the math in real life. While this was relevant, she never lost sight of the student and intertwined his interests with humor and sincere encouragement.

And side note...half of this learning occurred during early-Covid, where it was mandated sessions be done through Zoom. She was a techie genius and adjusted flawlessly, which is imperative for this younger generation of computer whizzes, who have limited patience for incompetent computer skills.

Ms. Ree Rocked It!

Beyond our sessions, it became clear that Ms. Ree wasn't there for the paycheck. She is a teacher and friend, who sees the potential and goes above and beyond to help her student achieve it. Always inviting 'off-the-clock' contact if needing a refresh or direction to work through a homework problem. Creating that available, nurturing learning environment motivated our son to strive harder and genuinely want to succeed for his tutor/teacher but most importantly for himself.

Our family homeschooled from 2nd grade through Spring 2022 graduation. Hands down Ms. Ree was the best resource we found in that journey. You will get more than you bargained for in every wonderful way when you work with Ms.Ree. She is our Math Angel!
